Job description

The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) provides high‑level operational human resource support across the division/department. This role will address employee concerns, provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, and support managers in talent management, employee relations, and performance management. The HRBP will also collaborate on strategic HR initiatives, support recruitment processes, and drive employee engagement and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain positive working relationships with employees, addressing their concerns professionally and confidentially.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. Direct employees to the appropriate source on special matters.
  • Manage, organize, and maintain HR databases, documentation, and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support workforce planning and recruitment strategies by partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and execute recruitment strategies.
  • Drive the recruitment process by initiating requisitions, conducting interviews, and ensuring the process stays on track to attract and hire qualified candidates who fit the ANDRITZ culture.
  • Support and assist with the succession planning process to ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates for key positions.
  • Ensure the proper completion of background checks, reference checks, and pre‑employment assessments.
  • Participate in career fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote the ANDRITZ brand.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization and have the necessary resources to succeed.
  • Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees.
  • Identify training needs and develop and implement programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Assist with special projects or other HR‑related programs as required.
  • Oversee the #APerformance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, providing guidance to managers as needed.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data‑driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support the development, tracking, and reporting of HR metrics, and create dashboards and visualizations to present HR data effectively.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives such as employee engagement surveys, talent development programs, and wellness initiatives.
  • Support the enhancement of employee engagement and retention through social events, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
  • Create presentations for training sessions, company meetings, orientations, and draft clear and concise communications.
  • Adhere to and apply HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8‑10 years’ experience in human resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Upholding high ethical standards and integrity in all HR practices and decisions.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed; estimated 5‑10%
