Job summary

Johnson Electric in Stratford, ON is seeking a Human Resources Administrator for a 6-month contract. This onsite role supports day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, records management, and staffing coordination in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate in HR or Business Admin with strong organizational, communication, and MS Office skills. On-site work, competitive pay, and benefits are offered to support employee experience.

  • Recent graduate of a Human Resources, Business Administration, or related post-secondary program.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support employee shift schedules through communication and administrative coordination.
  • Perform HR data entry and maintain accurate employee information and records.
  • Organize, maintain, and digitize employee files and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate temporary staffing requirements with external staffing agencies.
  • Review staffing agency invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and assist with HR-related requests.
  • Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
