Job summary

Johnson Electric in Stratford, ON is seeking a Human Resources Administrator for an onsite, 6-month contract. The role supports scheduling, data entry, and onboarding, while maintaining employee records and HR documentation.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate in HR or business administration with strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with HR systems and recruiting support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR administrative support including data entry and record maintenance.
• Support employee shift schedules through communication and administrative coordination.
• Organize, maintain, and digitize employee files and HR documentation.
• Coordinate temporary staffing requirements with external staffing agencies.
• Review staffing agency invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
• Respond to employee inquiries and assist with HR-related requests.
• Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
