Job summary

Johnson Electric in Ancaster, Ontario, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor-Manufacturing to lead maintenance operations and allocate resources to support production needs. You will drive reliability across equipment, coordinate CMMS activities, and implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing, reliable knowledge of Lean manufacturing, and experience with automation and capital

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience using CMMS platforms for maintenance planning and execution.
• Experience with predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and allocate maintenance resources to support production requirements across all shifts.
• Ensure maintenance personnel are properly trained and qualified to support manufacturing operations.
• Review maintenance performance metrics and implement corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Manage and maintain work order systems and CMMS.
• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Purchase maintenance materials, spare parts, and supplies as required.
• Provide technical input for equipment maintenance, repair, replacement, and capital investment decisions.
• Support facility maintenance planning and annual service contracts.
• Obtain quotations and manage external contractors for facility and equipment improvements.
• Provide technical support for engineering and manufacturing projects.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems.
