Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking two skilled Journeyperson Electricians or experienced Apprentices for an industrial shop in the Acheson/Spruce Grove area of Alberta. This six-month temp-to-perm contract offers a 4x10 daytime schedule with Friday/Saturday overtime opportunities and weekly pay through Randstad’s payroll system.

Ideal candidates will bend rigid conduit, assemble and troubleshoot complex electrical panels, and read detailed schematics.

Qualifications

• Active Alberta Journeyperson Electrician ticket preferred, though we are open to registered apprentices with strong rigid conduit and panel experience.
• Hands-on shop experience in rigid conduit installation and complex electrical panel building.
• Ability to read, analyse and translate electrical schematics and drawings.
• Commitment to safety, proactivity, and cleanliness on the shop floor.
• Willingness to pass background and D&A checks.

Responsibilities

• Bend, route, and install heavy rigid conduit systems for large industrial equipment.
• Assemble, wire, and troubleshoot electrical control panels in a fast-paced bay.
• Read and translate intricate schematics and engineering drawings to ensure precise builds.
• Lead on the shop floor and maintain strict safety compliance.
• Collaborate with mechanical trades to meet production targets safely.

Industrial Electrician (Journeyperson & Experienced Apprentices)

Location: Acheson / Spruce Grove industrial corridor, Alberta

Employment Structure: 6-Month probationary contract leading directly to a permanent internal hire.

Standard Shift: 4x10 Schedule Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Massive amounts of weekend overtime available).

Our bustling industrial manufacturing shop located in the Acheson/Spruce Grove area is actively hunting for two highly skilled Journeyperson Electricians (or very experienced Apprentices) to round out our floor crew. This is a dedicated six-month temp-to-perm arrangement where you can prove your technical worth and secure a stable, long-term position. Responsibilities

• Expertly bend, route, and install heavy rigid conduit systems for large-scale industrial equipment and massive manufacturing units.
• Assemble, wire, and rapidly troubleshoot complex electrical control panels inside our high-production, fast-paced panel fabrication bay.
• Accurately read, analyze, and translate intricate electrical schematics, technical blueprints, and advanced engineering drawings to ensure perfect builds every time.
• Take a proactive leadership role on the shop floor, anticipating upcoming production needs while maintaining an absolute commitment to our safety regulations.
• Work seamlessly alongside mechanical trades, structural welders, and shop management to guarantee that all major production targets and shipping deadlines are met safely.

Qualifications

• Active Trade Credentials: A certified Alberta Journeyperson Electrician ticket is heavily preferred, though we are highly receptive to registered apprentices who possess serious rigid conduit and panel experience.
• Industrial Expertise: You must possess verifiable, hands-on shop experience specifically focused on rigid conduit installation and complex electrical panel building.
• Safety and Leadership: We need self-starters who naturally step up to solve problems and possess an uncompromising attitude toward workplace safety and cleanliness.
• Team-Oriented Personality: You need strong verbal communication skills, an upbeat, outgoing attitude, and the ability to mesh perfectly with our existing, tight-knit crew.
• Pre-Employment Clearances: All successful applicants must be willing and comfortable passing a standard criminal background check as well as a pre-access Drug and Alcohol (D&A) screen.
