Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking two skilled Journeyperson Electricians or experienced Apprentices for an industrial shop in the Acheson/Spruce Grove area of Alberta. This six-month temp-to-perm contract offers a 4x10 daytime schedule with Friday/Saturday overtime opportunities and weekly pay through Randstad’s payroll system.

Ideal candidates will bend rigid conduit, assemble and troubleshoot complex electrical panels, and read detailed schematics.

Qualifications

• Active Alberta Journeyperson Electrician ticket preferred, though we are open to registered apprentices with strong rigid conduit and panel experience.
• Hands-on shop experience in rigid conduit installation and complex electrical panel building.
• Ability to read, analyse and translate electrical schematics and drawings.
• Commitment to safety, proactivity, and cleanliness on the shop floor.
• Willingness to pass background and D&A checks.

Responsibilities

• Bend, route, and install heavy rigid conduit systems for large industrial equipment.
• Assemble, wire, and troubleshoot electrical control panels in a fast-paced bay.
• Read and translate intricate schematics and engineering drawings to ensure precise builds.
• Lead on the shop floor and maintain strict safety compliance.
• Collaborate with mechanical trades to meet production targets safely.
