Randstad Canada is seeking a Licensed Industrial Electrician in Mississauga for a fast-paced, highly automated facility. This role combines electrical and mechanical maintenance in a JIT environment with strong opportunities for technical development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on maintenance in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical/electro-mechanical equipment.
• Support automated lines, robotic cells, and conveyors to minimize downtime.
• Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance alongside electrical duties.
• Diagnose PLCs, VFDs, vision sensors, and industrial networks.
• Drive lean, safety-focused continuous improvement.

A global automotive manufacturer in Mississauga is hiring a Licensed Industrial Electrician for a fast-paced, highly automated facility. This is a super hands-on role combining electrical and mechanical maintenance in a Just-In-Time (JIT) production environment, offering strong support for continuous learning and technical development.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical automotive assembly equipment.
• Support automated assembly lines, robotic cells, and conveyor systems to ensure zero downtime for critical customer shipments.
• Perform mechanical repairs, equipment overhauls, and preventative maintenance alongside electrical duties.
• Diagnose PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), vision systems, sensors, and industrial networks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in a lean, safety-focused automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Certification: Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician (442A) or Construction & Maintenance Electrician (309A).
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or automotive assembly plant.
• Skill Set: Strong balance of advanced electrical diagnostics and practical mechanical aptitude.
