Zusammenfassung

Blue Mountain Resort, owned by Alterra Mountain Company, is seeking maintenance staff for afternoon shifts. You will handle demand service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and service pools and hot tubs across the resort.

Candidates should have building trades knowledge and may have prior pool maintenance or painting experience. The role is on-site at Blue Mountain in Ontario with opportunities to work in a seasonal, family-friendly environment.

Qualifikationen

• General knowledge and experience in building trades (carpentry, drywall, plumbing, framing, electrical).
• On-site construction experience is an asset.
• Prev. pool maintenance experience is an asset.
• Experience with painting, wallpapering, ceramic tile and drywall finishing is an asset.

YEAR ROUND - FULL TIME (AFTERNOON SHIFT) WAGE- $ 23.55

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

This role will be responsible for many aspects of the day to day operations of the maintenance department. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to respond and action demand service requests, execute PM work and to maintain and service the pools and tubs on resort. The work will consist of but not be limited to; general repairs, general maintenance, equipment installation and daily rounds. General repair and maintenance of machines, equipment, guest rooms and buildings General Carpentry / Plumbing and Basic Electrical Clean, adjust and perform minor repairs to swimming pools and hot tubs (as required) Painting, wallpapering, tiling

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

• General knowledge and experience in building trades (carpentry, drywall, plumbing, framing, electrical etc.)
• On-site construction experience an asset
• Previous experience with pool maintenance an asset
• Work experience in commercial and residential painting, wallpapering, ceramic tile application, drywall installation, drywall patching, stucco, stipple, and fine wood finishing or refinishing an asset
