Job summary

Northland Properties seeks a dynamic Front Office Manager to lead the Front Office, Reservations, and Guest Activities in alignment with Sandman Hotels Group standards. You will ensure staff hiring, training, and adherence to grooming and policy guidelines, while driving guest satisfaction and revenue.

The role emphasizes staff development, cross-department collaboration, and the continual improvement of guest services and hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Hotel management experience, especially in Rooms Division.
• Strong supervisory skills with good judgment and common sense.
• Proficient with computer software, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control Front Office, Reservations, and Guest Activities per Sandman Hotels Group standards.
• Hire, train and inform personnel across departments.
• Maintain image and grooming standards across team members.
• Assist in implementing hotel programs and new-employee orientation.
• Forecast and coordinate with Reservations, Front Office and Sales to optimize occupancy, rates and revenue.
• Foster collaboration with all hotel departments to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
