Job summary

Canmore Downtown Hostel seeks a capable operations supervisor to oversee day-to-day hotel functions and staff management. You will implement procedures, recruit and supervise staff, and coordinate front desk and guest services to ensure smooth operation.

The role involves budgeting, supplier negotiations, and coordinating marketing and maintenance activities to uphold service standards.

Qualifications

• College/CEGEP diploma or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of hospitality or related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRS systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations.
• Recruit and hire staff and supervise performance.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage budgets.
• Negotiate with suppliers and clients for facilities use.
• Perform front desk duties and address guest concerns.
• Organize schedules and oversee maintenance activities.
