Job summary

Silver Hotel Group is hiring a Laundry Attendant at Fairfield Inn & Suites Ottawa Kanata. The role supports housekeeping, handles laundry functions, and ensures clean linens for guest rooms.

You will sort, wash, and dry linens, assist with inventory, and engage guests professionally. Experience in housekeeping is a plus; physical ability to handle up to 25 pounds; ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience is desirable but not required.
• Ability to move, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds heavy loads.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist team to ensure proper coverage and guest service.
• Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and item.
• Operate, maintain, and clean laundry equipment according to standards.
• Inform supervisor of any mechanical failures or supply shortages.
• Assist in delivering linens to closets and storage areas.
• Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay and hotel services.
