Job summary

Johnson Controls Canada is seeking a licensed HVAC mechanic to service hospital and large facility sites across the GTA. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC and building systems, read blueprints, and coordinate with site teams to ensure uptime and safety.

You will work in a dynamic team, occasionally on-call, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service. Healthcare experience and Metasys knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Licensed HVac mechanic with Ontario 313A certification.
• Minimum 5 years facility maintenance experience in healthcare, industrial, or large facilities.
• Strong reading of blueprints and schematics; proficient with BAS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and service requests professionally and promptly.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and building systems.
• Coordinate with site teams and contractors to complete tasks safely.
• Maintain logs and records in CMMS; monitor asset uptime and performance.
• Assist with project work and replacements as needed.
