Job summary

Johnson Controls Canada is seeking skilled HVAC Service Journeypersons to support commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. Candidates should have 5+ years of HVAC service experience and knowledge of maintenance procedures and troubleshooting.

You will manage service accounts, perform contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, and provide labor and material quotes. A 24/7 on-call rotation is required, with potential overtime or overnight stays.

Qualifications

• We require a minimum of 5 years of HVAC service experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and troubleshooting.
• Must be a member in good standing of Local Union 516 or willing to join.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned service accounts and perform contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, and requests.
• Provide labor and materials quotes for repairs and upgrades.
• Serve as the primary company contact, diagnosing and repairing equipment on site.
• Use cutting-edge software and tools along with hand tools and rigging per blueprints.
• Adhere to safety standards and manage assets responsibly.
• Join on-call rotation for 24/7 service, including overtime and possible overnight stays.
