Job summary

KB1 Group is seeking an on-site DCS Operations Specialist in Fort McMurray. The role focuses on day-to-day operational support, system health, and routine maintenance for Honeywell DCS systems in a heavy industrial setting.

Ideal candidates will have 4–8 years of hands-on Honeywell DCS experience, with practical migration and maintenance capabilities, and a proven ability to work independently in oil & gas environments. This position is Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week with local duties.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Honeywell DCS.
• Practical experience handling DCS migrations and daily system maintenance.
• Ability to work independently in a heavy industrial/oil & gas environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day DCS operational support, system health, and troubleshoot.
• Support DCS migration projects, logic updates, and graphic modifications.
• Coordinate technical activities during plant start-ups, shutdowns, and turnarounds.
• Work directly with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance and migration work complies with site safety procedures.

Key Requirements
