Independent Living Services Simcoe County (ILS) is seeking a Homemaker for a temporary full-time position in Barrie, Ontario. The role focuses on delivering homemaking services to help clients remain independent at home.
Responsibilities include cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry, with coordination with supervisors and healthcare partners. A high school diploma, driver’s license, First Aid/CPR, and a vehicle are required.

What you would be doing: Reporting to the Supervisor of Homemaking, the Homemaker's major responsibility is to assist the Client Services Supervisor to provide a high-quality service within ILS's policies, procedures, and other operating constraints and obligations. This position will provide homemaking services including cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, etc. to promote independent living for clients living in the community. They will work cooperatively and professionally with other healthcare providers and ILS staff members to provide instrumental activities of daily living services to clients, as identified on the client's service plan and directed by the client.

Total Compensation: Pay: $22.96/hourly
Shift Times: Work hours will vary within standard weekday hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday).
