Job summary

March of Dimes Canada is seeking a Part-Time Permanent Homemaking Services Worker to support seniors in the Midland area. The role offers up to 24 hours per week at $21.17 per hour, with flexible, weekday shifts and no weekend requirements.

You will assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping and laundry, and ensure dignity, privacy and safety. A valid driver’s license is required to travel between locations, and Standard First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience working with older adults and/or adults with age-related health conditions and/or disabilities.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform transferring and housekeeping duties.
• Completion of a Physical Demands Self-Analysis upon hire.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible and regularly scheduled hours.
• Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between multiple locations is required.
