Job summary

Interior Health seeks a Permanent Part Time Home Support Scheduler in Salmon Arm, BC. The role focuses on developing and coordinating home support service schedules for Community Health Workers and clients, with evening hours from 14:00 to 22:00.

Desirable candidates have Grade 12 and an Office Administration program, plus two years of related experience and a 30 wpm typing test within the last 24 months. Rotating days and on-site work support a balanced schedule.

Qualifications

• Typing test of 30 wpm or greater within the past 24 months.
• Grade 12 completion is required.
• Graduation from an Office Administration program is required.
• Two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coordinating home support service schedules.
• Reviewing client needs and matching Community Health Workers.
• Scheduling, monitoring, maintaining and adjusting CHW schedules and client appointments.
• Confirming completion of client service to referral clinician.
• Timekeeping.

What will you work on?

The Home Support Scheduler is responsible for developing and coordinating home support service schedules. Duties may include:

• Receiving service referrals and changes;
• Reviewing client needs and matches Community Health Workers based on suitability, geographic location, and skills required;
• Schedules, monitors, maintains and adjusts Community Health Worker’s schedules and client appointments;
• Confirms completion of client service to referral clinician;
• Timekeeping.
