Job summary

Interior Health in Kelowna, BC is seeking a Permanent Full Time Home Support Scheduler. The role develops and coordinates home support service schedules, coordinating with Community Health Workers and clients across multiple sites in the region.

Key duties include handling referrals, matching staff, scheduling and timekeeping, and ensuring service completion reporting to clinicians. Requires Grade 12, Office Administration program, and two years of related experience with a typing test.

Qualifications

  • Typing test 30 WPM from a recognized institution, within the past 24 months.
  • Proof of graduation from a recognized Office Administration Program.
  • Two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving service referrals and changes.
  • Reviewing client needs and matching Community Health Workers based on suitability, geographic location, and skills required.
  • Schedules, monitors, maintains and adjusts Community Health Worker's schedules and client appointments.
  • Confirms completion of client service to referral clinician.
  • Timekeeping.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Permanent Full Time Home Support Scheduler in Kelowna, BC.

This position is based at Kirschner Plaza but may occasionally be required to work from West Kelowna Health Centre.

Days of work: Monday to Friday, Days

Shift times: 08:00 to 16:30

What will you work on?

The Home Support Scheduler is responsible for developing and coordinating home support service schedules. Duties may include:

  • Receiving service referrals and changes;
  • Reviewing client needs and matches Community Health Workers based on suitability, geographic location, and skills required;
  • Schedules, monitors, maintains and adjusts Community Health Worker's schedules and client appointments;
  • Confirms completion of client service to referral clinician;
  • Timekeeping.
