Job summary

ABB Installation Products Inc. in Montreal, QC, Canada, is seeking a skilled field service professional to deliver high-complexity service work on hoisting and industrial equipment.

You will troubleshoot, plan, and execute service tasks, while building strong customer relationships and ensuring safety and quality at each site. You’ll identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, mentor technicians, and promote HSE compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience supporting industrial systems.
• Experience with mine hoist systems is considered a strong asset.
• Strong customer focus, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and deliver technical reports and presentations.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary service environment.
• Valid driver's license and passport, with the ability to travel within Canada, the United States, Mexico, and internationally as required.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.

Our benefits

Competitive, comprehensive, and crafted with you in mind. While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $92,625 and $135,850 annually and is bonus eligible.
