Birch Mountain Enterprises LP (BME) is hiring for our Fort McKay operations to safely operate a high‑pressure truck across industrial projects in the Fort McMurray region.

We seek mechanically inclined, physically fit operators with a Class 3 license and Q endorsement, plus experience with high‑pressure trucks. Benefits include overtime, living allowance, health benefits, insurance, and a retirement savings plan.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 license with Q endorsement and clean driving record.
• WHMIS, OSSA (or OSSA BSO or CSO), CSTS certification.
• Experience operating high‑pressure trucks.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• D&A and fit-for-duty pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate a High-Pressure Truck for various work.
• Complete daily documentation (logs, work orders, risk assessments, inspections).
• Follow Dispatch or Supervisor instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and image of the truck and equipment.
• Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings and follow safety procedures.

The minimum requirement for this position is a Class 3 license with Air Brake (Q) Endorsement for Operators.

Job Summary

Operating from Fort McKay, this position involves the safe operation of a high-pressure truck for various industrial-related projects throughout the Fort McMurray region.

Operators should be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in the operation of high-pressure steam trucks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operation of a High-Pressure Truck for various work.
• Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to paper or electronic logbooks, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post trip inspections
• Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor
• Complete daily housekeeping of the assigned truck to ensure maintenance of the company image
• Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

• Operators must possess a valid Class 3with Q endorsement driver’s license with a relatively clean driver’s abstract. With manual experience.
• Labourers must have a minimum Class 5 (Q endorsement would be an asset).
• Experience operating high pressure truck.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• WHMIS, OSSA (or OSSA BSO or CSO), and CSTS certification.
• Must successfully pass BME driver’s evaluation, D&,A and fit for duty pre-employment screening.

Compensation and Schedule

• Competitive and newly increased hourly rates
• 14 on, 7 off shift rotation

Based on equal qualifications, preference will be given to local candidates.
