Job summary

Halton Healthcare in Milton, Ontario is seeking a temporary full-time Dietary Aide to assemble and deliver patient meals, including tray preparation, cleaning, and stocking supplies. This role is based at the Milton site with 7.5-hour shifts and starts early mornings (0630-1430).

The position offers a temporary contract of about 3 months with hourly wages between $27.10 and $27.62. Candidates should be able to stand long periods and lift, and may be required to obtain a Food Handler's

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain Food Handler certification.
• Knowledge of WHMIS and HACCP regulations.
• Familiar with industrial food service equipment.
• Customer service experience in food service preferred.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/spoken communication with volunteers and patients.
• Ability to stand long, perform repetitive actions and lift.
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record.

Job Description

Responsible for the assembly and delivery of patient meals. Duties include preparing and delivery of patient trays, cleaning & warewashing, organizing and stocking supplies and other duties assigned.

Qualifications
