Job summary

Halton Healthcare in Oakville, ON is seeking a temporary part-time role responsible for assembling and delivering patient meals. Duties include tray preparation, delivery, cleaning, and stocking, with shifts across all days. Must obtain Food Handler's Certification and comply with WHMIS/HACCP rules. Excellent communication with staff and patients is essential.

The position is up to 0.50 FTE, with a salary range of CAD 27.10–27.62 per hour, for approximately 4 months.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to acquire the Food Handler's Certification.
• Knowledge of WHMIS and HACCP regulations.
• Knowledge of industrial food service equipment.
• Customer service experience preferable in the food service industry
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with volunteers and patients, both verbal and written.
• Position requires long periods of standing, repetitive actions, and significant amounts of bending and lifting.
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record
