Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Cambridge, ON is seeking a skilled Mechanic Shop Unlicensed to maintain and service our rental fleet with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and timely repairs.

You will diagnose, repair, and service heavy equipment, collaborate with colleagues, and support branch operations to ensure reliable equipment availability for customers. On-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Heavyduty mechanic with hands-on repair experience on construction equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and failure analysis skills.
• Experience with CAT equipment systems (ET/SIS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and estimate repair costs.
• Inspect rental equipment for proper operation and faults.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
