Clean Harbors in Breslau, ON is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy diesel equipment at our facility. This full-time role focuses on ensuring safety, reliability, and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• JM 310T mechanic certification and valid license.
• 3+ years' experience maintaining trucks, tractors, and trailers.

Job description

Clean Harbors in Breslau, ON location is currently looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining / repairing heavy diesel equipment within the facility.

Wage range for this position: $38-42/hour

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Perform all required maintenance and repairs to various types of equipment, tanker tailers and heavy-duty trucks;
• Perform maintenance which follows the manufacturer guidelines;
• Complete all paperwork required;
• Ensure the shop area is kept clean, tidy and free of hazards at all times.

Qualifications

• JM Mechanic certification (310T license)
• 3 + years' experience in maintaining of one or more of the following units: pickup trucks, tractors, and trailers;
• Familiarity with the various types of diesel engines;
• Ability to oversee, coach and mentor all apprentices and other shop laborers;
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Semi Annual Safety Inspection (CVI License).
