Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals / Location d’équipement Battlefield is seeking an on-site Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair and service our fleet of rental machinery. You’ll troubleshoot faults, replace defective parts, and test equipment to meet manufacturers’ specifications.

The role emphasizes physical tasks, accuracy and timely maintenance, with full teamwork to ensure fleet reliability. The position requires 3–5 years of related experience and a college/CEGEP credential or equivalent

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or related field.
• On-site work with no remote option.
• Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching and lifting.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
• Perform other routine maintenance
