Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a Dietary Aide to deliver quality dietary services in a healthcare environment. The role covers customer service, safe food-handling techniques, safety, nutrition, communications, food and beverage preparation and service.

Grade 12 or equivalent; reading English work orders; 1 year food services experience (health care preferred); Active Basic Food Safety Certificate; ability to lift 5–10 kg; team-oriented and able to work without direct supervision.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Ability to read/understand verbal work orders in English.
• One year food services experience, preferably in health care.
• Active Basic Food Safety Certificate (proof required).
• Able to perform moderate physical exertion and manual dexterity.
• Work requires lifting 5–10 kilograms and safety precautions.
• Work without direct supervision in a team environment.
