Job summary

Brockville General Hospital in Brockville, Ontario, is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support the Nutritional Services team. Under the Food Service Supervisor, you will help prepare and serve meals for patients, the cafeteria and catering events while participating in quality improvement activities.

The ideal candidate has a secondary school diploma, current Food Handling Certification, and related food service experience; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience in the food service industry.
• Current Food Handling Certification mandatory and maintained.
• Food Service Worker Certificate preferred.
• Experience in hospital or long term care food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Related experience in the food service industry
• Current Food Handling Certification mandatory and maintained throughout employment
• Food Service Worker Certificate preferred
• Previous experience in a hospital or long term care facility food service environment and knowledge of therapeutic diets is preferred
