Job summary

CarePartners is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to collaborate with business leaders, develop relevant data, reports, and dashboards to support daily, historical, and future operations. The role enables evidence-based decisions and identifies opportunities through insights and trends.

The analyst will transform data into actionable insights, gather and report on core business performance metrics, and support site managers with decision-making information across internal and external metrics systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or similar roles, preferably in healthcare.
  • Proven ability to design & deploy dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Strong Excel proficiency with advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modelling.
  • Proficiency in SQL; ability to join sources, validate data and support governance.
  • Experience with Python or R for analytics, automation, and data viz.

Overview

We are hiring for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team!

The Senior Data Analyst will work with key business leaders to identify, develop and deliver relevant data, reports and dashboards to support day to day, historical and future operations.

This role will enable decision-makers to make evidence-based decisions, support growth efforts, and identify threats and opportunities through generating and delivering insights and trends.

The Senior Data Analyst has a strong foundation in data analytics, critical thinking skills, and the ability to transform data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. The Senior Data Analyst gathers, analyses, and reports data related to the organization’s core business performance metrics. This includes both internal and external metrics systems. They are responsible for ensuring data is presented in a clear and actionable manner while supporting site managers with information that assists their decision making.

What The Role Involves

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Lead the collection, validation, and organization of data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, gaps, and opportunities across business and clinical operations
  • Interpret data and translate findings into meaningful insights, recommendations, and actions for leadership and operational teams
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, completeness, and consistency across reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs
  • Support advanced and ad hoc analysis to respond to organizational priorities, operational questions, and performance improvement needs

Reporting & Visualization

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards, KPI scorecards, and recurring reports using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Use SQL, Python, and R to extract, clean, transform, analyze, and prepare data for reporting, dashboards, and business analysis.
  • Design, develop, and implement reporting solutions using tools such as AlayaCare Data Exploration to support analysis and decision-making.
  • Develop and support AI-enabled tools that help identify trends, summarize data, automate reporting tasks, and support business decision-making.
  • Review and enhance existing reporting tools, templates, and dashboards to improve usability, accuracy, and alignment with business needs.
  • Provide guidance on reporting methodology, data interpretation, and appropriate use of performance indicators.

Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Assess current workflows, reporting processes, and data practices to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead or support process improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and reporting enhancements that improve efficiency and data usability.
  • Apply design-thinking and user-focused approaches to improve access to data, reporting tools, and analytical insights.
  • Recommend practical solutions to improve reporting processes, reduce manual work, and strengthen consistency across analytics products.
  • Support the development of standard processes, templates, and documentation to improve reporting quality and sustainability.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations and Shared Services teams to understand data needs, define reporting requirements, and deliver meaningful analytics solutions.
  • Work closely with Regional Directors and business users to translate operational questions into clear analytical approaches and reporting outputs.
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and discussions.
  • Facilitate conversations with stakeholders to validate requirements, explain methodology, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Promote the effective use of data, dashboards, and reporting tools across the organization.

Data Governance and Data Quality

  • Lead or support the development and maintenance of clear data definitions, business rules, data standards, and quality checks.
  • Ensure data used in reports and analysis is accurate, complete, consistent, and aligned with approved definitions and methodologies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues.
  • Support improvements in data collection, documentation, and reporting practices to strengthen data integrity and trust.
  • Promote data governance principles, including standardized definitions, metadata documentation, privacy, security, and appropriate use of data.
  • Provide recommendations to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and consistency across systems and business areas.
  • Other Duties and or special projects as assigned.
What You Bring
  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, analytics, or similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong experience developing high-quality dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modelling, and data analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, joining multiple data sources, and supporting data validation.
  • Experience using Python or R for statistical analysis, automation, and data visualization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, presenting findings, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including corporate, operational, and clinical stakeholders, to understand data needs and align reporting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, metadata documentation, data definitions, security controls, and data privacy standards.
  • Experience identifying and resolving data inconsistencies to improve reporting accuracy, reliability, and trust in data.
  • Ability to lead or support ad hoc analysis, complex reporting requests, and organizational analytics priorities.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse or Snowflake is preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, home and community care, or other mission-driven environments is preferred.
  • Experience with AlayaCare Data Exploration is preferred.
  • Experience using AI technologies is preferred.
