Job description

We are looking for a healthcare business analyst to join our team of consultants in the Montreal office.

This position is in hybrid mode.

Functional expertise we are focused on right now:

1. Patient Appointment Booking:
   - Configuration of booking slots, resource requirements, provider schedules, etc.
   - Front-end functionalities for booking appointments (cancel, rebook, book series, group appointments)
   - Data capture and reporting related to appointments
2. Procedure and Medication Order flows:
   - Focused on hospital environment, including clinic and outpatient orders
   - Documentation of order fulfillment workflows (normal and exceptional cases)

Additional requirements:

• Knowledge of Healthcare and Healthcare IT (excluding Insurance)
• Experience as a business analyst, clinical informaticist, or system analyst
• Proficiency in documenting business requirements (User Stories, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret regulatory documents and translate them into business requirements
• Attention to detail balanced with business realities
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of Canadian healthcare system
• Bi-lingual in English and French is a plus
