Job summary
Shannex Incorporated is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Analytics and Innovation Team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. You will turn raw data into actionable insights, build reports and dashboards, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions for resident care and operations.
The ideal candidate has a degree in CS, healthcare, statistics, or related field and 2–5 years of experience with SQL and Power BI, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- 2–5 years of analytical experience including dashboards, reporting, and data pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data; Power BI experience for visualization.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Responsibilities
- Transforms raw data into meaningful information for the organization.
- Determines the best way to integrate data sources to maximize analytical output using SQL.
- Develops and enhances reports and dashboards for decision makers.
- Translates business challenges into effective solutions using analytics and visualization tools.
- Identifies root causes for resident and site outcomes to enable actionable insights.
- Develops predictive insights for business development and growth opportunities.
