Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics.
• 5–7 years of data analysis experience, ideally in healthcare/public sector.
• Advanced Excel with Power Query and data modelling.
• Power BI experience strongly preferred.
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and business case development.
• Ability to translate data into clear insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

About Our Client

We are seeking a talented Senior Business & Data Analyst to provide advanced analytics, data validation, and visualization support for Finance-led initiatives. This role will transform clinical, operational, and financial data into actionable insights that support executive decision-making, strategic planning, cost optimization, and operational improvement. While this position is hybrid, the role will require up to 5 days in the office when required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex clinical, operational, and financial data to identify trends, cost drivers, performance opportunities, and risks.
• Extract, integrate, reconcile, and validate data from multiple systems to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and visualizations and translate findings into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
• Support forecasting, monthly variance analysis, financial reporting, and commentary for assigned programs and departments.
• Lead cost‑benefit analyses and financial modelling for cost savings, process optimization, and other strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and improve data and reporting processes.
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, Digital & Data teams, and business leaders to provide decision support and improve operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in data analysis, ideally within healthcare, public sector, or a complex operational environment.
• Advanced Excel, including Power Query and data modelling, is required.
• Power BI experience is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL is an asset.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and business case development skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear financial and strategic insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
• Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, independent, and comfortable working with complex or ambiguous data.
