Job summary

GreenShield in Canada seeks an Analyst, Health System Innovation to advance strategic initiatives within a payer-provider model. You will support opportunity assessment, planning, evidence generation, evaluation, and scale across government, health authorities, and providers.

You will help shape how GreenShield identifies new market opportunities, tests care models, and translates pilots into sustainable solutions that drive health outcomes and business growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare (including co-ops or internships).
• Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Health, Business, or related field.
• Strong willingness to learn and genuine passion for healthcare.
• Experience operating in a complex, fast-moving organizational environment with openness to feedback and evolving priorities.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and facilitation of group consensus and decision making.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills for senior leaders.
• Demonstrated commitment to social impact and health equity, through volunteer work or related activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of the Canadian healthcare landscape and assess opportunities in mental health, chronic disease, virtual care, and pharmacy, including evaluation of alignment and scalability within GreenShield's payer-provider model.
• Synthesize evidence, jurisdictional insights, and stakeholder input into actionable recommendations for pilot design and go-to-market approaches in the public system.
• Develop executive-level briefing materials, proposals, and presentations to support public sector engagement, RFP submissions, and internal alignment.
• Lead day-to-day engagement with health system partners to advance priority initiatives and move opportunities from concept to execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Government & Public Affairs, Strategy, Clinical, Product, and Operations to align policy, funding priorities, and strategic objectives.
• Support end-to-end execution of priority health system innovation initiatives, coordinating across internal teams and external partners.
