The Health Services Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to multi-disciplinary teams within a patient-centred, Collaborative Practice Model for patient care. This role requires a high degree of decision making, change management, team building and collaboration skills. Responsibilities include process design and redesign initiatives related to improvement activities in the department.
The Health Services Manager will be accountable for multiple ambulatory clinics at QEII including Endoscopy, Provincial TPN, GI & ENT Clinics.
Working in a co-leadership model, the Health Services Manager is also responsible for working with physician co-leads of the areas required to engage the interdisciplinary team to address key clinical practices and utilization management/patient flow in the provision of quality care throughout the continuum. Knowledge of data information management systems is essential in reporting indicators and outcome measurements. Essential components of this position include a high degree of expertise in decision-making, creativity, interpersonal skills, professional development, and informational roles to perform a wide variety of technical, human, conceptual, leadership, and financial management functions and behaviors.

Hours$46.36 - $61.60 Hourly
