Job summary

EllisDon Edmonton is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to lead planning and integration of M&E scopes on a major construction project in Edmonton, AB. You will coordinate mechanical and electrical activities, chair M&E meetings, and ensure scheduling and budgeting align with the project plan.

• Engineering degree required or equivalent combination of technical training.
• Mechanical or Electrical Design experience considered an asset.
• 5–7 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical functions.
• Experience managing end-to-end projects including scope, tendering, installation, and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Plan the mechanical and electrical components of a construction project and ensure activities fit within the overall project framework.
• Chair project M&E meetings, determine status of the job in terms of scheduling and costing, and solve complex technical issues.
• Monitor a project’s material and labour costs for mechanical and electrical components and assure accurate quality reporting.
• Manage project commissioning team to provide a record of systems performance.
• Prepare and implement training programs to ensure successful transition from construction to facilities management.
