Your opportunity

Dillon’s Health & Safety (H&S) group seeks a Health & Safety Analyst to influence our health and safety performance and safety culture organization-wide.

This position is available at any Dillon office with options for hybrid and flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like

Reporting to the Director, Health & Safety, you will be a key member of a small team of professionals. Responsibilities include:

• Managing Dillon’s Vector third-party H&S software platform, including building checklists, managing access, LMS content, dashboards, and system integration, in collaboration with IT and the Vector team.
• Maintaining and analyzing health and safety records such as training, hazards/incidents, audits, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Analyzing incident reporting and field assessment databases.
• Tracking progress towards H&S objectives and targets.
• Preparing performance reports, scorecards, and charts by collecting, researching, and analyzing data, identifying trends, and formatting reports to support decision-making.
• Manipulating data sets, creating pivot tables, and generating dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or similar tools.

Health & Safety Administration

• Managing pre-qualification, contractor approval, and vendor management systems (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks).
• Supporting development and maintenance of H&S training content.
• Providing administrative support including data entry, document control, report preparation, and correspondence.
• Assisting with scheduling, meetings, and logistics.
• Updating and maintaining H&S communication portals for usability and visual appeal.
• Handling inquiries and escalating issues appropriately.
• Establishing and maintaining policies related to controlled documents and workflows.
• Managing WCB clearance certificates and H&S proposals.

Learning & Development

• Committed to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with H&S or consulting background.

Experience

• Advanced skills in Excel, Google Suite, Power BI, MS Office.
• Experience with H&S prequalification databases (e.g., ISNetWorld, Avetta).
• Database management and intranet site maintenance experience (e.g., SharePoint).
• Experience handling sensitive information and understanding data privacy laws.
• Strong time management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
