Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage safety programs to maximize employee and facility safety, including compliance with applicable regulations and incident review.
  • Lead HSE improvement teams, conduct Job Safety Analysis, and coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders on safety issues.
  • Coordinate safety compliance programs for contractors and update safety standards accordingly.
  • Manage industrial hygiene and medical monitoring programs, including air sampling and noise dosimetry.
  • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and develop solutions for any issues.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, implement corrective actions, and track their effectiveness.
  • Represent the site during regulatory audits and manage all HSE-related submissions and inspections.
  • Develop and conduct plant HSE training and communicate health and safety issues effectively.
  • Conduct audits of HSE programs, review policies, and implement improvements.
  • Maintain safety data, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
  • Continuously improve HSE procedures and attend necessary training to maintain certifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial safety, science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably chemical processing.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and HSE programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle confidential information appropriately.
