Job Description

We are seeking a Health & Safety Specialist (H&S Document and Reporting Specialist) to join our team based on-site in Mississauga. The role involves supporting the development of one of the most advanced, sustainable airports in the world.

Major Responsibilities

• Investigate all recordable incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Communicate lessons learned across the program.
• Promote safety awareness and resolve safety-related risks through effective communication.
• Manage and develop the health and safety management system.
• Oversee construction safety requirements at the program level.
• Monitor safety reporting data, identify trends, and recommend actions.
• Compile safety statistics for reporting purposes.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS degree + 4 years of experience or equivalent.

Preferred Requirements

• Diploma/certificate in health and safety or equivalent training.
• Minimum 10 years of on-site safety management experience, preferably in airport construction projects.
• Experience in injury management, safety auditing, and incident investigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
