Job summary

Shared Health in Winnipeg is seeking a Health Records Clerk to join the Health Records Team. The incumbent will process mail and reports, file health records, and ensure TD filing accuracy within the health information system.

Qualifications include minimum six months hospital Health Records experience or one year medical office experience, TD filing, typing 30 wpm, and CHIMA certification preferred. This is an in-person term position with 0.70 FTE.

Qualifications

• Six months hospital Health Records experience within the last two years.
• One year medical office experience within the last two years.
• Terminal Digit filing experience required.
• Experience with electronic and paper health records preferred.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• CHIMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process mail and reports and file health records.
• Utilize TD filing and update health record locations.
• Handle filing and pulling health records and use computer systems.
