Job summary

Chartwell is seeking a Guest Attendant to support older adults with personal care, mobility, and daily activities in a warm, home-like setting.

You will assist with meals, laundry, and light chores while following care plans and safety protocols. Excellent communication, empathy, and reliability are essential to help residents live comfortably with dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, laundry, food service, or support services.
• Ability to read, follow, and communicate instructions effectively.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding of seniors’ needs.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and safety with equipment.
• Strong time management and reliability.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in personal care, laundry, food service, or support services
• Secondary school education; post-secondary training in a care field preferred
• Ability to read, follow, and communicate instructions effectively
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding of seniors’ needs
• Maintain high hygiene standards, work safely with equipment, and manage time well
