Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences in Vaughan is seeking a Guest Attendant to provide personal care, assist residents in daily routines, and support a safe, welcoming living environment.

You will collaborate with care teams, follow care plans, and contribute to high hygiene and safety standards. This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and a respectful, resident‑centered approach.

• Secondary school education; post‑secondary training in a care field preferred.
• Ability to read, follow and communicate instructions effectively.

As a Guest Attendant at Chartwell, you’ll provide personal care, assistance, and support to our residents, helping them live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding of seniors’ needs
• Maintain high hygiene standards, work safely with equipment, and manage time well

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the role
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items
• Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
