Job summary

Chartwell Master Care LP in Ontario is seeking a compassionate Guest Attendant to support residents with personal care, daily activities, and comfort. You’ll help with dressing, meals, and mobility, while maintaining safety and dignity in a warm, home-like environment.

We value empathy, reliability, and strong communication; post-secondary training in care is preferred, with ability to work flexible hours. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, laundry, food service or support services.
• Ability to read, follow and communicate instructions effectively.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience and understanding of seniors’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with personal care, mobility and daily routines.

• Administer medications and follow individual care plans.
• Keep resident areas clean and safe and follow health and safety protocols.
• Respond to resident and family concerns and report to the Health and Wellness Manager when needed.

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults through compassionate care and exceptional service? As a Guest Attendant at Chartwell, you’ll provide personal care, assistance, and support to our residents, helping them live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. Your empathy, professionalism, and commitment to excellence will create a warm, supportive environment where residents feel truly at home.

What You’ll Do

• Help residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines like dressing and meals
• Provide support with laundry, light housekeeping, and meal service
• Administer medications and follow individual care plans
• Keep resident areas clean and safe, and follow all health and safety protocols
• Respond to resident and family concerns and report to the Health and Wellness Manager when needed

What You’ll Bring

• Secondary school education; post-secondary training in a care field preferred

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the role
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items
• Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
