Founded in 1899, St. Andrew's College (SAC) is an independent, all-boys university preparatory school for Grades 5-12. Located 40 minutes north of Toronto, SAC's 126-acre campus is home to a mix of 650 boarding and day students from 25 countries. As set out in our mission statement, SAC's rigorous academic program is complemented by a wide range of co-curricular activities designed to develop the complete man, the well-rounded citizen. All boys participate in the leadership program and the extensive athletic program (71 teams across 22 sports). We invite applications for a Health and Physical Education teacher position at St. Andrew's College, reporting to the Deputy Head. The successful candidate will teach Health and Physical Education courses in addition to other subjects in the Upper School. This role will begin in late August 2025.
The successful candidate will bring high-level coaching experience in at least two sports offered at SAC. In particular, we welcome applications from teachers with experience playing and coaching hockey at a high level.
Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor of Education with Physical Education qualifications and preferably are certified to teach in Ontario or in pursuit of this designation. The ideal candidate will have outstanding academic credentials and demonstrate the ability to contribute to the many facets of school life.
