Phreesia is looking for a passionate Front-End Software Engineer II to join our growing team!

As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will gain a deep understanding of the healthcare industry while working in a distributed team of talented software and QA engineers. You will learn about our users, customers, and architecture while building, scaling, and maintaining complex distributed software products. You will be part of a team of Engineers, Architects, QA Engineers, and Product Managers, working to ensure that the products being built drive customer usage, are easily supportable by our customer teams, and are accurate, highly available, scalable, and easily deployable.

You will work on implementing products to connect with patients and provide relevant health information, involving rules engines, third-party API integrations, building APIs and services, and automating CI/CD pipelines.

This is a fully remote position with priority given to candidates in the EST/CST time zones.

What You’ll Do:

• Translate business requirements into customer-focused interface designs.
• Ensure front-end designs comply with standards and UI kits.
• Design and implement web applications using Angular (primary) and React.
• Migrate pages from other technologies to modern Angular UIs.
• Perform basic development tasks in C#, such as creating APIs with mock data.
• Follow best practices for interface design and development.
• Perform unit testing at the page level.
• Develop and maintain automated testing systems.
• Document design standards and communicate them to the team.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• At least three years of full-time Front-End Development experience, including two years with Angular.
• Strong understanding of Angular best practices and design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing front-end code.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Some familiarity with React.
• Nice to have: Experience with Jenkins and Razor pages.

Technology:

• Microsoft .NET in C#, SignalR.
• SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Restful APIs.
