THE JOB

We are currently looking for a Communications Specialist who is eager to make an impact as part of a growing, award-winning organization. This role is ideal for a communication professional with experience supporting communications plans, particularly on product positioning and enablement within the behavioral space.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Communications Specialist will support the Senior Communication Specialist with strategic and hands-on communications efforts. The Communications Specialist will play an important role in the ideation and execution of content goals, including how we reach our desired target audience and marketing objectives.

Our ideal candidate is a proactive, creative thinker with a degree of practical judgement. This role requires a team player who can also work independently as priorities shift in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This is a full-time, six-month contract position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver clear, compelling messaging and campaign materials across marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Content team and cross-functional team members to create content for various mediums, including blogs, newsletters, social media, press releases, sales enablement tools, case studies, white papers, email marketing, etc.
  • Research content and consumer trends to ensure content is relevant and appealing based on the target audience.
  • Adhere to and contribute to MHS’ content style guide, ensuring the production of high-quality and error-free copy.
  • Provide copy editing and proofing of content to be used across marketing channels.
  • Ensure that SEO and SEM strategies are effectively implemented within content.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to track content analytics and generate reports and presentations on performance.
  • Stay updated with content trends, consumer preferences, and technological advancements.

WHAT YOU BRING

Ideally, you are a self-starter who is highly organized and can deliver against tight timelines. You thrive when working on multiple projects. Your advanced written and verbal communication skills will be used to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups, and you have keen attention to detail. In addition, you bring:

  • Undergraduate degree, or a combination of experience and other credentials.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in marketing, communications, or similar.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a focus on storytelling, forward-facing sales enablement tools, and social media copy.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Portfolio or examples of written content (Example: blogs, case studies, fact sheets, etc.)

Skill Sets:

  • Excellent command of the English language with native proficiency.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite of products; bonus points for experience with D365.
