Description of the Job

Position Summary

This position will interact with external customers via email and phone to provide a high level of customer service. It will also work closely with internal departments such as sales, operations, marketing, IT, and finance to deliver a positive customer experience while achieving company goals.

What You Will Do

  • Communicate directly with customers via phone or email to identify and resolve issues related to product availability, order fulfillment, changes, programs, pricing, and policies.
  • Apply product knowledge of residential applications to troubleshoot thoroughly over the phone and email.
  • Investigate, document, and manage product warranty programs, including credits, replacements, and return authorizations.
  • Enter and modify customer orders accurately and promptly in the business system.
  • Advise on basic product application and functionality.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Document customer interactions in CRM.
  • Meet all service level agreements to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Professional, positive, and courteous communication skills with all customer and employee levels.
  • Understanding of customer needs to provide prompt, effective solutions.
  • Self-motivation and time management skills to handle multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with problem-solving abilities.
  • Bilingual in French and English is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems like AS400.

Education

  • Post-secondary education preferred.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of relevant customer service experience required; industry experience preferred.
  • Call center experience is a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution is an asset.
