Job summary

Stacktics is seeking a highly experienced Head of Data Systems to lead the Data Systems Business Unit and guide a team of engineers, analysts, and data scientists. You will own data systems strategy, ensure quality, and drive AI-enabled productization across engagements.

You will mentor teams, lead audits for performance and cost efficiency, and align data workflows with client objectives, while expanding capabilities in data engineering and software delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering with 6+ years in leadership.
• Deep expertise building/managing large-scale data systems on cloud platforms.
• Strong Google Cloud Platform experience and data engineering skills.
• Experience leading AI-first, Software 3.0 teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Jira/Atlassian project tools.

Responsibilities

• Own Stacktics Data Systems Business Unit and drive growth.
• Mentor engineers, developers, analysts and data scientists.
• Lead audits of data systems and cloud platforms for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure high quality output and customer satisfaction.
• Drive AI-first development standards and SDLC improvements.
• Collaborate across units to optimize workflows and resourcing.
