Job summary

St. Joseph's Hospice of London is seeking a Director of Community Engagement & Development to lead major and annual giving, planned giving, and marketing efforts. The role reports to the Executive Director and oversees a team of four, including major gifts, events, donor relations and communications.

A strong track record in fundraising leadership and donor stewardship is essential. The position is full-time, hybrid, with a salary of CAD 104,000–114,770, commensurate with experience, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years fundraising experience at the Major Gift level.
• Minimum of 3 years leading a fundraising team.
• Graduation from an accredited university.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Personal transportation required.
• Results driven and able to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead all fundraising activities with an annual revenue goal of $1.6 million.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement program.
• Manage donor cultivation, solicitation, and relations.
• Oversee Development reports to the Board and other agencies.
• Supervise donor gift acknowledgement, records, and databases.
• Collaborate with campaigns, events, marketing and design.
