The position is hybrid in Toronto, with in-office Tuesday–Thursday and remote Monday and Friday. A strong track record in major gifts and donor relations is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Progressive fundraising experience with foundations and individual donors.
• Experience cultivating and soliciting donors and managing a portfolio.
• Track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts.
• Strong prospecting, qualification, and move management skills.
• Ability to develop donor proposals and coordinate input from multiple contributors.
• Experience using a donor CRM and reporting pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of 75–100 donors and prospects with gifts of 10k–100k.
• Develop tailored strategies and timelines for cultivation and solicitation.
• Conduct donor meetings, tours, and briefings to advance opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, grant requests, and solicitations aligned to funding priorities.
• Secure one-time and multi-year gifts and renewals to grow revenue.
• Identify opportunities above 100k and coordinate with senior staff.
