Job summary

Allied REIT is seeking a Senior Building Operations Leader to oversee a large portfolio of urban properties. You will manage building systems, lead a team of Operators, and drive performance through budgeting, KPIs and cross‑functional collaboration with Property Management and Construction teams.

The role emphasizes safety, sustainability, and excellence in tenant service, while coordinating with vendors and capital projects to maintain building standards across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years in physical building operations including HVAC/BAS, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Leadership experience of 5+ years in a related role.
• Experience managing maintenance and construction projects.
• Budgeting and KPI-driven performance management.
• CMMS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a large portfolio of complex buildings and ensure operational excellence.
• Lead and develop Building Operators and Supervisors; coach and review performance.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and property management teams; ensure service levels.
• Manage budgets (operating and capital) and prepare year‑ahead plans.
• Ensure health, safety and compliance with codes; monitor KPIs and energy use.
