Job summary

Alliedreit is seeking an experienced leader to supervise operational performance, reliability, and long-term asset stewardship across its portfolio of commercial real estate in Canada. The role focuses on building systems, maintenance programs, capital planning, and sustainability initiatives, reporting to the Vice President of Technical Services and Construction.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and drive governance, vendor management, and performance metrics to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in commercial real estate ops or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, BAS, life safety, electrical, plumbing.
• Experience leading capital projects and redevelopment initiatives.
• Experience managing operating and capital budgets and KPIs.
• Knowledge of building codes, health and safety legislation, ESG initiatives.
• Engineering degree required; professional designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance, reliability and long-term asset stewardship of Allied's real estate portfolio.
• Oversee building systems, maintenance programs, capital planning, sustainability initiatives, vendor performance, and operational standards across a complex portfolio of commercial real estate assets.
• Develop high-performing teams and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Property Management, Leasing, Construction, Development, Sustainability and Portfolio Operations teams to support capital projects, tenant improvements and occupancy readiness.
• Drive operational excellence, optimize asset performance, mitigate risk, and ensure Allied's buildings deliver exceptional tenant experiences and long-term portfolio value.
